Pet Bunara is a traditional restaurant located in the heart of Zadar, serving food made with organic ingredients and in accordance with the ideas of the Slow Food movement. Besides an outdated website, the brand had no online presence and the restaurant had no means of communication with the digital audience which in turn led to loss of revenue, especially during winter months. Something had to be done.
The key to success
The brand needed to go digital, that was obvious. In addition to a new website, Pet Bunara needed a social media strategy as well. The most valuable asset of the brand was, of course, delicious food, lovingly prepared to the standards of Slow Food philosophy. From experience, we knew that when it comes to food, people respond best to beautiful shots of nicely served meals, so we decided to flood the brand's digital channels with foodporn.
How we did it
We built a new, responsive website containing the full menu, news, bits about the brand and their Slow Food approach, various recipes and more. The communication was also mirrored on Facebook and ad campaigns were launched in order to improve recognition, awareness and loyalty.
The community responded well and the brand noted an increase in visitations and revenue, better customer loyalty, more returns and a notable improvement in business during the winter months.
